It’s an amazing feeling just photographing a couple’s wedding day. But when your couple decides to start their own family and they call on you once again to document that special time in their lives, it’s a feeling like no other. I love all of my clients and I am forever thankful for the opportunity to be involved in their lives by doing what I love.
Gabriella decided to go back to Fort Tryon for her maternity session. We had photographed their engagement session there and she loved the idea to revisit the same location. I thought it was a great idea as well!
Funny backstory on this shoot is that as most of you know, we have had a seriously hot summer here in NY…and the day this maternity session was scheduled for was no different. Despite the intense heat & humidity, Gabriella & Marco nailed every pose, moment, step. The joke between myself and Gabriella & Marco is that we are linked by heat lol. Their wedding day was also one for the records and we had to come to her rescue when the a/c in the limo stopped working! Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to checkout that post from last year.
Now let’s get into the session!
The timing of the session just makes it all. That golden hour is just so important.
Flashpoint eVOLV 200 by @adorama was used in this next photo.
Some maternity shots and then engagement photos in same location 🙂
