I really can’t think of a better way to finish off 2017 than with one last visit to Adorama NYC to host another free event in their store. Sticking with the Wedding Photography theme, I have decided to host a discussion on turning a lead into a booking and following through to final delivery. I think this is an extremely important topic as it has much less to do with actual photography and more to do with business and personal skills. You must know how to speak to your potential clients and actual clients in order to foster a long-lasting relationship. If you focus on simply booking the job and leaving it at that, well I believe you will see a much lower return rate for when that client has a new need for your types of services. If the experience that they received was sub-par, there is little reason why they SHOULD come back. Not only do you want them to be happy, but you want them to sing your praises to all of their friends, family and co-workers. Each satisfied client becomes a voice to spread the word of your Studio and your Brand. Use that to your advantage. Skip spending money on social media promotions and instead focus on direct person to person interactions that promote your brand but also enhance your clients individual experience.
